Geographe Bay Football Club
"THE SEASIDERS"

The Geographe Bay Football Club (affectionately known as “The Seasiders”) was formed in 2009.

What began as a Men’s Social Soccer team has now grown into something much larger. Today, we are known for our Division One Men’s team, a Premier Women's team, a Youth League Boys team, and several kids’ teams. With such a diverse range of teams, there is something for everyone at Geographe Bay Football Club.

The Club’s home ground is based at Barnard Park, Geographe Bay Road, Busselton, which is situated across from the Busselton Jetty.
2025 SWSA Division One Cup Winners

The team claimed victory in the SWSA Cup Final, a hard-fought match against Blackwood United, who had bested them earlier in the league season. The final was a test of composure and tactical discipline, and the team rose to the occasion. In comparison, in the 2024 season, the team was knocked out of the cup competition in round 1.
Under pressure, their defense was outstanding, absorbing sustained attacks and responding with sharp counter play. Every player knew their role, and the team’s cohesion was evident from the first whistle to the last. The match was decided by moments of precision and resilience qualities that had been honed throughout the season.
Beyond the cup win, the team’s overall season was marked by consistent improvement. They maintained one of the league’s best defensive records and showed an ability to adapt tactically against stronger opponents. The squad’s depth was strengthened by the integration of youth players, and the coaching team’s emphasis on accountability and fitness paid dividends in high-pressure moments. This season wasn’t just about results it was about redefining what the team stood for. The cup win was the culmination of that journey, and a clear marker of how far they’ve come.
Jude Bowler-Wright was named Best on Ground for his relentless pace, smart positioning, and ability to turn defense into attack. His performance was emblematic of the team’s approach: focused, fearless, and team-first.
2025 Coaches Award

2025 City of Busseltons Coach's Award
Jack Hall, head coach of the Geographe Bay Football Club’s Senior Men’s First Division Team, exemplifies the spirit of leadership, dedication, and community that this award seeks to honour.
In his first year of coaching, Jack led the team to an outstanding season finishing second in the South West Soccer Association (SWSA) league competition and claiming victory in the SWSA Cup Final. These achievements reflect not only his strategic acumen but also his ability to inspire and unite his players. Jack’s transition into coaching has come from personal adversity. A significant injury has sidelined him from playing, but rather than stepping away from the sport, he’s channelled his passion into mentoring others. His resilience and commitment are evident in every training session and team interaction. During the off-season, Jack initiated summer beach training to build strength and fitness, ensuring his players returned in peak condition. He also encouraged participation in extracurricular activities such as yoga and Pilates, promoting holistic wellbeing and injury prevention.
His coaching philosophy is deeply player-focused. Every session features engaging drills designed to sharpen skills and build confidence. Jack’s unwavering encouragement and positivity have created an environment where players feel supported and motivated to reach their full potential.
Jack is also a champion of team cohesion. He regularly organises team dinners and casual meet-ups, fostering camaraderie and unity that translate into strong on-field chemistry. His ability to learn from setbacks and adapt his approach demonstrates a growth mindset that inspires his players to do the same.
